With three decades of experience in complex litigation and service to families and attorneys, Ms. Henley is skilled in the following areas.
- Developing confidence identifying cases requiring forensic response and adjustment to assessment protocol to suit demand of index case
- Collaboration with neutral evaluators and guardians ad litem to modify their usual protocols to suit demands of index case
- Develop sketches for self and other witnesses
- Identify other professionals to serve as treaters or evaluators
- Review/analyze MH records with eye toward practice standards, sufficiency, and compliance with regulations and generally accepted practices
- Litigation support as appropriate
- Witness development and preparation
- Trouble-shooting service delivery and 11th hour litigation distractions
Dr. Hagan holds board certification as a Forensic Psychologist.
- 4 decades forensic experience
- Family law, criminal, abuse and neglect disputes, practice standards for mental health professionals, outcomes for children of high-conflict divorce, parental capacity evaluations, and other forensic issues.
- Published numerous articles and book chapters in the peer-reviewed scholarly literature
- Presented CLEs: necessity of sufficient scientific underpinning for expert testimony, parental access to children’s mental health treatment records, practice standards, and other subject matter.
